Soil nailing is a process that must be done before building a wall against the soil. Without soil nailing, you could experience problems with the structure years down the road when the soil begins to settle.
Soil nailing is used for several different kinds of structures. Whenever railroads or highways are built, the soil must be stabilized prior to construction. Without first stabilizing the soil, there could be problems in the future once the railroads and highways are put into use.
